Used games on Xbox One

Hi,
      I know you can play used games on the Xbox for a while now, but I have bought my Xbox One only 3 weeks ago so I did´t tried this yet.



How does it work, if I buy a used physical game?



Can I just buy a used game let´s say from eBay, insert it in my Xbox and play it after the installation? Because I have read, that I need the account informations from the person from whom I buy this game, but is this true?
Please help.
